The Best Light and Airy White Bread – Bread Machine Recipe

• 1½ cups warm milk (110°-118°)
• [345 milliliters]
• 6 Tbs butter, room temperature, cut into small pieces
• [86 grams]
• 4 cups bread flour, sifted then measured
• [480 grams]
• 2 Tbs white granulated sugar
• [25 grams

]

• 1½ tsps salt
• [9 grams]
• 1½ tsps Bread Machine Yeast (or Instant Yeast) NOT active dry yeast
• [4.5 grams]

Directions

1. Bread Machine settings: 2 lb. loaf, light color, basic bread setting
2. Pour the milk into the bread pan and then add the other ingredients. Place the bread machine yeast in last and the yeast should not touch the liquid or salt (until the bread machine is turned on and the ingredients start to be mixed together by the bread machine).
